Around Teton Village and the surrounding resort properties, the ground freezes hard and moves. A paver patio that was not excavated and based properly will heave, and an irrigation line that was not blown out will split. We build for that first and worry about the finish second, because redoing an install costs far more than doing it once.

A lot of what we maintain here sits empty between visits. Plowing and upkeep run whether or not anyone is in the house, so it is ready when guests arrive.

Contracted Teton Village properties sit on a route and get plowed in the same order every storm. No phone call, no competing with whoever called first. For second homes and rentals we plow whether or not anyone is there, so access stays open for guests and cleaners.

Maintenance through a short season

The growing window here is compressed, so there is very little room to catch up once a property falls behind. Consistent visits, plus a real spring and fall cleanup at either end, are what keep it ahead.
