Spring and fall cleanups

Spring cleanup gets the property out from under the winter: debris, gravel thrown by plows, matted grass, and beds that need clearing. Fall cleanup gets it ready to go under again. Both are the difference between a lawn that recovers quickly and one that spends half a short season catching up.

The same crew that built it

If we installed the patio, the irrigation, or the sod, we already know what is under the ground and how it was built. That matters when something needs adjusting, and it is why most install clients stay on for maintenance.

What a season looks like at this elevation

The Jackson season is short and it does not forgive a late start.

• Late April to May: Thaw, cleanup, cutting back what winter killed, and irrigation startup once the freeze risk passes
• June: Growth comes fast and all at once, so this is when a weekly rhythm matters most
• July to August: Peak season, heat stress, and the window where watering and mowing height decide how the lawn looks
• September: Growth slows, and this is the last honest window for seeding or repair work
• October: Fall cleanup, leaf and debris removal, cutting back perennials, and irrigation blowout before the first hard freeze
• November: Everything left on the ground now stays there until spring, so the last pass matters
• Winter: Plowing takes over, and the property is watched rather than worked

Everything a property needs, on one plan

Most people start by asking for mowing and end up calling three different outfits by August. A plan covers the whole season in one agreement so nothing gets missed and nobody has to remember to schedule it.

• Mowing: On a set day, at a height suited to the season, with edges and trimming every visit
• Fertilization: A program timed to a short mountain season rather than a generic calendar
• Aeration: Relieving compaction so water and nutrients actually reach the roots
• Overseeding: Thickening thin and worn areas while there is still season left to establish
• Spring cleanup: Clearing winter debris, cutting back what died, and getting irrigation running
• Fall cleanup: Leaves, beds cut back, and irrigation blown out before the first hard freeze
• Beds and shrubs: Edging, weeding, and trimming timed so cuts happen in the right month
• Winter: Snow plowing on the same agreement, so one crew has the property all twelve months

Why we work on a schedule, not a call list

A property kept on a rhythm costs less to maintain than one rescued twice a year, and it never has the two weeks in July where it visibly got away from you. Being on the schedule also means you are on the snow route when winter comes, which is the part people wish they had sorted in September.
